Abstract

Un reductor de fricción que comprende un copolímero de acrilamida, un monómero aniónico, un monómero zwitteriónico o un monómero catiónico, un ligando físico o un ligando químico, en donde la acrilamida representa al menos al 50% (p/p) del contenido total de monómero. El reductor de fricción es útil en operaciones de fracturamiento hidráulico y es obtenido mediante polimerización radicalaria controlada a una temperatura entre 30ºC y 70ºC utilizando iodo como agente de control de polimerización.
