Abstract

En la presente, se describen composiciones herbicidas que contienen una cantidad con eficacia herbicida de (a) un herbicida de ácido piridincarboxílico o un N-óxido, una sal o un éster agrícolamente aceptables de este, y (b) un inhibidor de la 4-hidroxifenil-piruvato dioxigenasa (HPPD) o una sal o un éster agrícolamente aceptables de este. En la presente, también se describen métodos para controlar vegetación no deseable que comprenden aplicar a la vegetación o a un área adyacente a la vegetación o aplicar a la tierra o al agua para evitar la emergencia o el crecimiento de vegetación (a) un herbicida de ácido piridincarboxílico o un N-óxido, una sal o un éster agrícolamente aceptables de este y (b) un inhibidor de la 4-hidroxifenil-piruvato (HPPD) o una sal o un éster agrícolamente aceptables de éste, donde (a) y (b) se aplican cada uno en una cantidad suficiente para proporcionar un efecto herbicida. En donde el herbicida de ácido piridincarboxílico comprende un compuesto definido por la fórmula (1).
