Abstract

La presente descripción proporciona un proceso que incluye proporcionar una dispersión acuosa de poliolefina que tiene un 50 a 90% en peso de contenido de sólidos de dispersión, la dispersión acuosa de poliolefina que contiene partículas sólidas que contienen una poliolefina que incluye un polímero basado en etileno que tiene una temperatura de fusión de más de 115ºC a 140ºC, cera de poliolefina, dispersante acrílico; y una fase acuosa que incluye un exceso de dispersante acrílico; adición de agua diluida para formar una dispersión acuosa de poliolefina diluida que tiene 5 a menos de 50% en peso de contenido de sólidos; recoger las partículas sólidas; lavar las partículas sólidas con un agente de lavado para eliminar el exceso de dispersante acrílico; y la eliminación del agente de lavado para formar un polvo que tiene un tamaño de partícula promedio en volumen de 10 a 300 mm, una esfericidad de 0.92 a 1.0, una distribución de tamaño de partícula de 1 a menos de 2, una densidad de partículas de 98% a 100%, y un caudal en un embudo grande de 1 a 5 segundos.
