Abstract
Se ha hallado, que cuando se agregan sustancias coabsorbentes al óxido de bismuto intrínseco que absorbe el láser, el rendimiento del marcado con un láser Nd.YAG se ve mejorado o al menos se conserva al mismo nivel pero se reducen los costos. Se sospecha que el aditivo coabsorbente no agrega simplemente un contraste al polímero al carbonizar el polímero circundante sino que ayuda a que el óxido de bismuto se acople a la radiación láser y cambie el color de este aditivo. Este efecto hallado ayuda a reducir el costo del reemplazo de trióxido de antimonio y con eso se tiene una solución más segura y más sustentable para la tecnología actual y futura del marcado láser.
