Abstract
Se divulgan composiciones y métodos para controlar plagas de plantas. En particular, se proporcionan proteínas insecticidas que tienen toxicidad contra plagas de insectos coleópteros y/o lepidópteros. También se proporcionan moléculas de ácido nucleico que codifican las proteínas insecticidas. También se divulgan métodos de preparación de las proteínas insecticidas y métodos de utilización de las proteínas insecticidas y ácidos nucleicos que codifican las proteínas insecticidas de la presente, por ejemplo, en plantas transgénicas para conferir protección contra el daño debido a insectos.
