Abstract
Se describen métodos para usar las presiones de cierre para determinar incertidumbres en un proceso de fracturación hidráulica en un reservorio de esquistos. Los datos comúnmente recolectados durante la fracturación de múltiples etapas se usan para calcular la altura de la fractura apuntalada y las tensiones inducidas, así como otras variables, en presencia de anisotropía de tensión horizontal. Estas variables luego se pueden incorporar en simulaciones de yacimientos para mejorar el control de la fracturación, pronosticar recuperaciones de hidrocarburos o modificar los planes de fracturación.
