Abstract
Un aparato para codificar una señal multicanal 100 que comprende al menos dos canales 101, 102, comprende: un mezclador 120 para calcular una señal de mezcla 122 a partir de la señal multicanal 100; un calculador de parámetros 140 para calcular una ganancia lateral 141 a partir de un primer canal 101 de los al menos dos canales y un segundo canal 102 de los al menos dos canales y para calcular una ganancia residual 142 del primer canal 101 y el segundo canal 102; y una interfaz de salida 160 para generar una señal de salida, la señal de salida que comprende información en la señal de mezcla 122, y en la ganancia lateral 141 y la ganancia residual 142.
