Abstract
Se proporciona un dispositivo portátil de análisis y método para medir las características físicas de un material polimérico o elastomérico. El dispositivo de análisis incluye una sonda indentadora; un sistema de accionamiento para controlar el movimiento de dicha sonda, dicho sistema de accionamiento comprende un deslizador lineal motorizado asociado operativamente con la sonda para avanzar dicha sonda de una primera posición a una segunda posición para deformar dicho material polimérico o elastomérico y facilitar la retracción instantánea o rápida de dicha sonda hasta una posición intermedia predeterminada entre dicha primera y segunda posiciones; y un sistema de medición de la fuerza / desplazamiento que incluye un primer sensor para medir la fuerza en la punta de dicha sonda durante el contacto con dicho material polimérico o elastomérico y un segundo sensor para medir el desplazamiento de la sonda; y un controlador configurado para proporcionar control al sistema de medición de la fuerza/desplazamiento y el sistema de accionamientos.
