Abstract

Un método incluye determinar, para cada bloque de codificación respectivo de una pluralidad de bloques de codificación de una unidad de árbol de codificación (CTU) actual de datos de video en una imagen actual de datos de video, un área de búsqueda respectiva de una pluralidad de áreas de búsqueda respectivas, en donde al menos una de la pluralidad de áreas de búsqueda incluye muestras de la imagen actual ubicadas fuera de la CTU actual, y en donde al menos una de la pluralidad de áreas de búsqueda no incluye muestras de la imagen actual ubicadas fuera de la CTU actual; seleccionar, para cada bloque de codificación respectivo y del área de búsqueda respectiva para el bloque de codificación respectivo, un bloque predictor respectivo de una pluralidad de bloques predictores; y reconstruir muestras de cada bloque de codificación respectivo en función de muestras incluidas en un bloque predictor correspondiente en la pluralidad de bloques predictores.
