Abstract

Se proporcionan composiciones y métodos para controlar plagas de plantas y/o mejorar al menos un rasgo agronómico de interés en una planta. Estas composiciones y métodos comprenden una cepa bacteriana que se puede usar como un inoculante para plantas. En consecuencia, también se proporcionan métodos para cultivar una planta susceptible a una plaga de planta y/o fitoenfermedad causada por una plaga de planta y métodos para controlar plagas de plantas y/o fitoenfermedad en una planta susceptible a la plaga de planta y/o fitoenfermedad. Reivindicación 1: Una composición que comprende: (a) al menos una de la cepa bacteriana AIP075655, AIP061382, AIP029105, o una variante activa de cualquiera de ellas, en donde la variante activa comprende una cepa bacteriana que tiene genoma dentro de una distancia de Mash de aproximadamente 0,015, y en donde dicha cepa bacteriana o un activo su variante está presente a aproximadamente 10⁵ CFU/gramo a aproximadamente 10¹² CFU/gramo o a aproximadamente 10⁵ CFU/ml a aproximadamente 10¹² CFU/ml; (b) al menos una de una espora, o una forespora, o una combinación de células, foresporas y/o esporas de cualquiera de AIP075655, AIP061382, AIP029105, o una variante activa de cualquiera de ellas, en donde la variante activa comprende una cepa bacteriana que tiene un genoma dentro de una distancia de Mash de aproximadamente 0,015, y en el que dicha espora, forespora o una combinación de células, foresporas y/o esporas o una variante activa de la misma está presente a aproximadamente 10⁵ CFU/gramo a aproximadamente 10¹² CFU/gramo o de aproximadamente 10⁵ CFU/ml a aproximadamente 10¹² CFU/ml; y/o (c) un sobrenadante, filtrado o extracto derivado de un cultivo celular completo de al menos una de la cepa bacteriana AIP075655, AIP061382, AIP029105, o una variante activa de cualquiera de ellas, en donde la variante activa comprende una cepa bacteriana que tiene un genoma dentro de una distancia de Mash de aproximadamente 0,015; en donde una cantidad eficaz de dicha composición mejora un rasgo agronómico de interés de una planta o controla una plaga de planta o un patógeno de planta que causa una fitoenfermedad.
