Abstract
La presente se refiere a la producción de combustibles renovables y componentes de combustible a partir de aceite vegetal originario de al menos una especie de Brassica, donde dicha especie de Brassica, dopada con al menos una bacteria fijadora de nitrógeno, se cultiva para obtener aceite de semilla de Brassica, y materia prima que comprende el aceite de semilla de Brassica se convierte en un paso de conversión, mediante el cual se obtienen componentes de combustible renovable o combustible renovable. La presente también se refiere a un método para reducir la liberación de nitrato en la producción de combustible renovable. Además, la presente se refiere a un método para reducir los gases de efecto invernadero en la producción de combustible renovable.
