Abstract
Se proporciona un método de tratamiento de múltiples etapas para el tratamiento o la eliminación de incrustaciones de sulfuro de hierro en operaciones subterráneas y operaciones que implican la producción y/o el transporte de petróleo y gas. En una modalidad, el método comprende: identificar uno o más tipos de incrustaciones de sulfuro de hierro que se encuentran presentes en una parte de una formación subterránea; introducir una primera composición de tratamiento que comprende un ácido dentro de al menos una parte de la formación subterránea para disolver parcialmente las incrustaciones de sulfuro de hierro que se encuentran allí e introducir una segunda composición de tratamiento dentro de la parte de la formación subterránea luego de la primera composición de tratamiento, tal segunda composición de tratamiento comprende un aditivo para tratar el sulfuro de hierro que se selecciona, al menos en parte, según un tipo de incrustaciones de sulfuro de hierro que se identificó en la formación subterránea.
