Abstract

De acuerdo con algunas modalidades de la presente descripción, se describen sistemas y métodos para un sistema avanzado de control de orientación de herramientas para una herramienta de perforación dirigible rotativa. El método incluye determinar una orientación de herramienta deseada de una herramienta de perforación, calcular un error en la orientación de la herramienta mediante la determinación de una diferencia entre una orientación de herramienta actual de la herramienta de perforación y la orientación de herramienta deseada, desacoplar una respuesta de un primer componente de la herramienta de perforación, calcular una corrección para reducir el error en la orientación de la herramienta en función de un modelo de la herramienta de perforación que contiene información acerca de una fuente del error en la orientación de la herramienta, transmitir una señal a un segundo componente de la herramienta de perforación de forma tal que la señal ajuste la orientación de herramienta actual en función de la corrección y perforar un pozo con una barrena de perforación orientada en la orientación de herramienta deseada.
