Abstract

Un dispositivo para fumar portátil operado eléctricamente que comprende: una fuente de energía recargable; un primer contacto de carga conectado a la fuente de energía recargable mediante un interruptor controlado por tensión MOSFET, en donde el MOSFET tiene un terminal de la fuente, un terminal de drenaje y un terminal de puerta; un amplificador operacional con una entrada no inversora del amplificador operacional conectada al terminal de la fuente, una entrada inversora del amplificador operacional conectada al terminal de drenaje, y una salida conectada al terminal de puerta; y un segundo contacto de carga conectado a la fuente de energía recargable, en donde el interruptor controlado por tensión MOSFET se configura para evitar que la corriente fluya entre el primer contacto eléctrico y la fuente de energía recargable a través del interruptor cuando una diferencia de tensión entre el primer contacto de carga y la fuente de energía recargable es menor que una primera tensión umbral, en donde el dispositivo se configura para amplificar una diferencia de tensión entre el terminal de la fuente y el terminal de drenaje y aplicarla al terminal de puerta, en donde la realimentación. de lazo cerrado se aplica a la entrada inversora del amplificador operacional y en donde una resistencia de polarización se conecta entre la entrada inversora de la amplificador operacional y la tierra eléctrica. Este arreglo permite la protección contra cortocircuitos en una manera en que es pequeña y consume relativamente poca energía cuando se compara con un diodo rectificador.
