Abstract
Sistema y método de detección de rotura de raíles para una línea ferroviaria, adaptados para detectar la rotura por discontinuidad eléctrica en al menos un rail (R). El sistema comprende un nodo emisor (1), un nodo receptor (2), unos medios de conexión para generar un circuito eléctrico entre ambos nodos (1, 2) y el tramo de raíles (R), de hasta 7 km. entre ambos nodos (1, 2), en el que el nodo emisor (1) inyecta una señal eléctrica alterna, un detector (S) asociado a cada rail (R) para detectar la señal eléctrica alterna a través del rail (R) correspondiente, y unos medios de control que reciben las señales detectadas y determinan si hay discontinuidad eléctrica en el circuito eléctrico identificando el rail (R) roto.
