Abstract
La presente describe un método para preparar ácido 3-metil-2-nitrobenzoico, en donde 1,3-dimetil-2-nitrobenceno se combina con un catalizador de oxidación de una fuente de oxígeno y un iniciador, siempre que menos de 99% del 1,3-dimetil-2-nitrobenceno se oxide. Se describe, además un método para preparar compuestos de la fórmula (1) y la fórmula (2), en donde el método se caracteriza por el uso de ácido 3-metil-2-nitrobenzoico preparado por el método descrito anteriormente, en donde R¹ es alquilo C₁₋₇, cicloalquilo C₃₋₆ o alquilcicloalquilo C₄₋₇.This describes a method for preparing 3-methyl-2-nitrobenzoic acid, wherein 1,3-dimethyl-2-nitrobenzene is combined with an oxidation catalyst from an oxygen source and an initiator, provided that less than 99% of the 1,3-dimethyl-2-nitrobenzene is oxidized. A method for preparing compounds of the formula (1) and the formula (2) is further described, wherein the method is characterized by the use of 3-methyl-2-nitrobenzoic acid prepared by the method described above, wherein R¹ it is C₁₋₇ alkyl, C₃₋₆ cycloalkyl or C₄₋₇ alkylcycloalkyl.
