Abstract
Un esquema para la modulación de un cliente de flujo continuo de velocidad de bits adaptativa (ABR) participante de una sesión de flujo continuo ABR. En una implementación, se toma una determinación acerca de si un dispositivo UE inalámbrico que ejecuta el cliente de flujo continuo de ABR está acercándose a un área de mancha blanca radioeléctrica. Si es así, un búfer de video del cliente ABR se configura para precargar segmentos de video de menor calidad que durarán todo lo que se extienda el área de mancha blanca radioeléctrica. Uno o más controles de cliente ABR pueden desactivarse selectivamente mientras el dispositivo UE inalámbrico está en el área de mancha blanca radioeléctrica.
