Abstract

Un aparato para mapear un primer canal de entrada y un segundo canal de entrada de una configuración de canales de entrada con por lo menos un canal de salida de una configuración de canales de salida, donde cada canal de entrada y cada canal de salida tiene una dirección en la cual está situado un parlante asociado con respecto a una posición central del oyente, donde el aparato está configurado para mapear el primer canal de entrada con un primer canal de salida de la configuración de los canales de salida. El aparato está configurado asimismo para por lo menos uno de a) mapear el segundo canal de entrada con el primer canal de salida, lo que comprende procesar el segundo canal de entrada mediante la aplicación de por lo menos uno de un filtro de ecualización y un filtro de decorrelación al segundo canal de entrada y b) a pesar de que una desviación del ángulo entre una dirección del segundo canal de entrada y una dirección del primer canal de salida es menor que una desviación del ángulo entre una dirección del segundo canal de entrada y el segundo canal de salida y/o es menor que una desviación del ángulo entre la dirección del segundo canal de entrada y la dirección del tercer canal de salida, mapear el segundo canal de entrada con el segundo y tercer canales de salida mediante el paneo entre el segundo y tercer canales de salida.
