Abstract
Un proceso para convertir fosfato de litio en una solución baja en fosfato conteniendo litio que es adecuado como materia prima para la producción de productos de litio vendibles, comprendiendo el proceso: disolver el fosfato de litio en ácido para formar una solución portadora de fosfato de litio acídica; tratar la solución portadora de fosfato de litio acídica con un hidróxido de un vehículo fosfato para formar un precipitado de fosfato y el vehículo fosfato; y separar el precipitado de fosfato y el vehículo fosfato dejando una solución baja en fosfato conteniendo litio.
