Abstract
Se divulga un dispositivo de distribución eléctrica / para fibra óptica que tiene una estructura que define un volumen interior. Un puerto de cables eléctricos se extiende en el volumen interior y se puede acceder a este desde el exterior desde la estructura, en donde el puerto de cables eléctricos está sellado para evitar el ingreso de polvo y agua en el volumen interior. Un puerto de cables de fibra óptica se extiende en el volumen interior y se puede acceder a este desde la estructura. El puerto de cables de fibra óptica está sellado para evitar el ingreso de polvo y agua en el volumen interior. Un conjunto de conversión con una placa de circuito impreso (PCB) y una bandeja de cables de fibra óptica apoyada en alineación apilada con la PCB se coloca en el volumen interior. La PCB tiene un conversor óptico/eléctrico y un circuito de alimentación eléctrica. Se mantiene un espacio definido entre la PCB y la bandeja de cables de fibra óptica, y la PCB y la bandeja de cables de fibra óptica se mantienen en alineación lateral.
