Abstract
Un método para aumentar la estabilidad de un parámetro de diferencia de tiempo intercanal (ICTD) en codificación de audio paramétrica, donde se recibe la señal de entrada de audio multicanal que comprende al menos dos canales. El método comprende obtener una estimación ICTD, para una trama de audio y una estimación de estabilidad de dicha estimación ICTD, y determinar si es válida la estimación ICTD obtenida. Si se comprueba que no es válida y se determina una suficiente cantidad determinada de estimaciones ICTD válidas en las tramas precedentes, se establece un tiempo de retención usando la estimación de estabilidad y se selecciona un parámetro ICTD válido obtenido anteriormente, como parámetro de salida, durante el tiempo de retención. El parámetro de retención, se establece en cero si no se halla válida durante el tiempo de retención.
