Abstract

Se ha descubierto que los catalizadores homogéneos, [Rh(C₂H₄)₂Cl]₂ y/o [Rh(COD)₂][BF₄] pueden utilizarse para producir espinetoram en niveles más altos de rendimiento con cargas más bajas de catalizador, según se compara con las metodologías anteriores. Además, uno o más donantes de ligando de fósforo pueden también agregarse para aumentar, más los rendimientos / eficacia. Los métodos y/o sistemas que se proporcionan en la presente permiten modos efectivos en cuanto a costos para producir espinetoram en gran cantidad con procedimientos relativamente simples. El sistema para producir espinetoram comprende un catalizador homogéneo seleccionado entre el grupo que consiste de [Rh(C₂H₄)₂Cl]₂, [Rh(COD)₂][BF₄], [(COD)RhCL]₂, [Rh(COD)₂][OTs], y combinaciones de los mismos. El procedimiento para producir espinetoram comprende: hidrogenar una mezcla de 3’-O-etil espinosina J y 3’-O-etil espinosina L, en presencia de un catalizador homogéneo seleccionado entre el grupo formado por [Rh(C₂H₄)₂Cl]₂, [Rh(COD)₂][BF₄], [(COD)RhCL]₂, [Rh(COD)₂][OTs], y combinaciones de los mismos, a una temperatura de entre 15ºC y 100ºC con una presión de gas hidrógeno de entre 5 psig y 200 psig.
