Un contenedor de transporte y almacenamiento (20) para fluidos que tiene un contenedor interno (22) hecho de plástico, una chaqueta exterior (31) con preferencia realizada como un enrejado de metal, así como también un marco de base similar a un palé (24) formado para ser manejado por medio de carretillas elevadoras o modos de transporte similares, y que comprende una base de soporte (23) hecha de hoja de metal para soportar el contenedor interno (22) provista de por lo menos un cuello de llenado (45) en un lado superior (47) del contenedor interno (22), en donde un contenedor intermedio (21) que recibe el contenedor interno desde todos los lados y hecho de hoja de metal está dispuesto entre el contenedor interno (22) y la chaqueta exterior, comprendiendo dicho contenedor intermedio (21) una caja de la chaqueta (25), una tapa del contenedor (26) conectada a la caja de la chaqueta (25) y una parte inferior del contenedor conectada a la caja de la chaqueta (25), estando la parte inferior del contenedor formada por la base de soporte (23) del marco de base (24).
