Abstract
Un método para ubicar zonas de fractura en un pozo mediante la emisión de ondas tubulares desde diferentes ubicaciones de emisión, detectar respuestas de las zonas de fractura en diferentes ubicaciones de recepción y analizar las respuestas para mapear la ubicación de las zonas de fractura. Además, un sistema para ubicar las zonas de fractura en un pozo con un emisor móvil para emitir ondas en diferentes ubicaciones de emisión en el pozo. Un receptor del interior del pozo para detectar respuestas en ubicaciones de recepción respectivas a distancia fija respecto a las ubicaciones de emisión. y un registrador para detectar el tiempo entre la emisión y la respuesta para las diferentes ubicaciones de emisión. Además, una herramienta del interior del pozo equipada con un emisor de ondas tubulares, un receptor de respuesta de onda tubular en disposición en tándem con el emisor, y un sistema de despliegue seleccionado de un cable eléctrico, tubería flexible, tractor o una combinación de estos para mover el emisor y el receptor juntos en tándem.
