Abstract
Un método para detectar una fuga de una señal de vía en al menos una vía férrea (3, 5) donde la señal de vía es una señal transmitida a través de los carriles (7, 9, 11, 13) de una vía férrea para detectar la presencia de un vehículo ferroviario (36) y/o trasmitir información a un vehículo ferroviario, y dicha al menos una vía férrea comprende al menos dos secciones de vía (15, 17, 19, 21) que están eléctricamente aisladas entre sí, donde al menos un receptor está asociado a cada sección de vía, y el método comprende: transmitir una señal de prueba (39) a través de una primera sección de vía (15); activar uno o más receptores asociados a la pluralidad de secciones de vía (15, 17, 19, 21) donde la pluralidad de receptores están adaptados para recibir la señal de prueba (39); recibir la señal de prueba a través de una o más secciones de vía (15, 17, 19, 21); determinar dicha una o más secciones de vía (15, 19), donde se ha recibido la señal de prueba; determinar si existe una fuga (38) entre una primera sección de vía y al menos una segunda sección de vía.
