Abstract

Un sistema de imágenes del suelo que tiene un sensor de la capa de trabajo dispuesto en un implemento agrícola para generar un campo electromagnético a través de una superficie del suelo de interés cuando el implemento agrícola atraviesa un campo. Un monitor en comunicación con el sensor de la capa de trabajo está adaptado para generar una imagen de la capa de trabajo de la capa de suelo de interés en función del campo electromagnético generado. El sensor de la capa de trabajo también puede generar una imagen de referencia mediante la generación de un campo electromagnético a través del suelo sin remover. El monitor puede comparar al menos una característica de la imagen de referencia con al menos una característica de la imagen de la capa de trabajo para generar una imagen caracterizada de la capa de trabajo de interés. El monitor puede mostrar la retroalimentación del operador y puede efectuar el control del funcionamiento del implemento agrícola basándose en la imagen caracterizada.
