Abstract
La presente involucra un secante para secar al aire una composición de resina auto-oxidable que comprende un polímero el cual a su vez comprende residuos de ácidos grasos insaturados, comprendiendo dicho secante un complejo de manganeso triaza con la estructura de fórmula (1) en donde R¹ = alquilo C₁₋₂₀ opcionalmente sustituido por heteroátomos, o arilo C₆₋₂₀ opcionalmente sustituido por heteroátomos; X e Y son seleccionadas independientemente a partir de O y OC(R²)O, en donde a = 4 cuando X = O, y a = 3 cuando X = OC(R²)O, y en donde b = 4 cuando Y = O, y b = 3 cuando Y = OC(R²)O; en donde R² = alquilo C₁₋₂₀, opcionalmente sustituido por heteroátomos, arilo C₆₋₂₀ opcionalmente sustituido por heteroátomos, o un residuo polimérico; y uno o más aniones, siendo seleccionados PF₆⁻, SbF₆⁻, AsF₆⁻, BF₄⁻, B(C₆F₅)₄⁻, Cl⁻, Br⁻, I⁻, NO₃⁻, o R³COO⁻ o SO₄²⁻, y en donde R³ es alquilo C₁₋₂₀ opcionalmente sustituido por heteroátomos, arilo C₆₋₂₀ opcionalmente sustituido por heteroátomos, o un residuo polimérico; y en donde el secante comprende una cantidad adicional de 1,4,7-trialquilo-1,4,7-triazaciclononano; en donde el 1,4,7-trialquilo-1,4,7-triazaciclononano (L) de fórmula (2) se encuentra presente en una cantidad tal que la proporción molar L:Mn es al menos 1.25:1 y preferentemente al menos 1.5:1.
