Abstract
En un tramo (6) de una vía con balasto que se extiende sobre una pluralidad de durmientes (3) se remueven el balasto (2) y los durmientes (3). Los bloques de durmientes (10) montados en las losas de hormigón (9) se insertan, levantan, y fijan a los carriles (5). Los carriles (5) están soportados por soportes temporarios, ajustables verticalmente y ajustados. En un área que se extiende sobre un número de losas de hormigón (9), el hormigón de relleno (24) se rellena desde el subsuelo hasta al menos parte de la altura de las losas de hormigón (9), y luego del endurecimiento del hormigón de relleno (24) se remueve al menos una parte de cada uno de los soportes (17) ubicados entre dos losas de hormigón (9) respectivas. El método permite que la conversión se lleve a cabo sin cambiar la posición de los carriles (5). Luego de la colocación de los soportes, la vía puede funcionar inmediatamente otra vez de manera que el tramo correspondiente no necesita permanecer cerrado hasta que todos los pasos del método se completen.
