Abstract
Un dispositivo y método para la detección de daños a un sistema de puerta mediante la detección de la presencia o ausencia de una fuente magnética fijada al sistema de puerta para detener el movimiento o invertir el movimiento de la puerta con el fin de evitar cualquier daño adicional al mismo. Por ejemplo, una puerta enrollable puede ser dañada por un vehículo y sacada de sus guías de soporte verticales; la detección de este acontecimiento provoca la interrupción de todo movimiento de la puerta, como la apertura o el cierre de la puerta.
