Abstract

El presente se refiere al campo del silenciamiento génico mediado por ARN bicatenario (ARNbc) en especies de insectos. El presente se basa, en parte, en una secuenciación de los genes de las pestes de especies de avispa de las agallas (Leptocybe invasa (Li) y Ophelimus maskelli (Om)), invasivas de los eucaliptos. En ciertos aspectos, el presenta ácidos nucleicos de las avispas Li y Om y sus derivados, y su uso como agentes para el control de la avispa de las agallas.
