Abstract
Un método de codificación de imágenes en que se transforman un componente croma y un componente luma de una imagen de entrada que incluye uno o más bloques de transformación para codificar la imagen de entrada. El componente luma tiene el mismo tamaño que el actual bloque de transformación. El componente croma es menor que el actual bloque de transformación. En el método, cuando el actual bloque de transformación tiene un primer tamaño mínimo, el componente croma se transforma sobre la base de un bloque resultante de unir una pluralidad de los bloques croma que tienen el mismo tamaño que el bloque luma y, cuando el actual bloque de transformación tiene un tamaño diferente del primer tamaño mínimo, no se codifica una unidad CBF que indica si los coeficientes del componente croma incluyen o no un coeficiente que no es cero.
