Abstract

Se proporciona porciones de rotor accionadas separadamente para una cosechadora y un método para trillar granos mediante el uso de porciones de rotor accionadas separadamente. La cosechadora recorre el material de cosecha que comprende material de grano y material distinto de grano (MOG). El material de grano se separa del MOG mediante el uso de múltiples áreas de procesamiento. La porción de tornillo sinfín puede detenerse o rotar a una velocidad menor con respecto a la rotación de la porción de trilla para simular la recolección de una gran cantidad de material de cultivo aún cuando pequeñas parcelas están involucradas, lo cual proporciona los beneficios de aplicaciones de cosecha de parcelas grandes a parcelas pequeñas.
