Abstract

Cuando funciona en el segundo modo de funcionamiento, las direcciones de flujo de aire a través de las porciones primera y segunda de la cara de ventilación se invierten periódicamente.A stack of fuel cells comprises a fuel cell stack, each fuel cell has a cooling air duct with an inlet / outlet vent opening arranged on a vent face of the stack. The ventilation openings form an alignment on said ventilation face of the stack. A first fan is configured to direct direct air flow through a first portion of the ventilation face and a second fan is configured to direct air flow through a second portion of the ventilation face. A reconfigurable chamber is in fluid communication with the first fan and the second fan and has a first configuration where air is directed, through the first and second fans, through the first and second portions of the ventilation face in the same direction , and a second configuration where air is directed, by at least one of the fans, respectively through the first and second portions of the ventilation face in opposite directions. When operating in the second mode of operation, the directions of air flow through the first and second portions of the ventilation face are periodically reversed.
