Abstract
Esta se refiere a métodos para mejorar la altura de las plantas y/o el rendimiento de las plantas de cultivo que son resistentes al herbicida 2,4-D mediante el tratamiento de las plantas con 2,4-D con coeficientes de aplicación que no son perjudiciales para las plantas. En particular, se provee un método en el que se utiliza la aplicación de 2,4-D para aumentar el rendimiento de las plantas de cultivo que expresan el gen AAD-12 para la resistencia al 2,4-D. El método provisto es de particular interés para el tratamiento de plantas de cultivo, inclusive maíz, soja, colza de semilla oleaginosa de primavera y de invierno (canola), remolacha azucarera, trigo, girasol, cebada, y arroz. Reivindicación 1: Un método para mejorar el rendimiento de plantas de cultivo resistentes a 2,4-D, que comprende tratar las plantas con una cantidad estimuladora de un herbicida que comprende una parte ariloxialcanoato. Reivindicación 23: Un método para mejorar el rendimiento de plantas de cultivo resistentes a 2,4-D, que comprende: (a) transformar las células de plantas con una molécula de ácido nucleico que comprende una secuencia de nucleótidos que codifica una ariloxialcanoato dioxigenasa (AAD); (b) seleccionar células transformadas; (e) regenerar las plantas a partir de las células transformadas; y (d) tratar las plantas con una cantidad estimuladora de un herbicida que comprende una parte ariloxialcanoato. Claim 23: A method for improving the performance of 2,4-D resistant culture plants, comprising: (a) transforming plant cells with a nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding an aryloxyalkanoate dioxygenase ( ADF); (b) select transformed cells; (e) regenerate plants from transformed cells; and (d) treating the plants with a stimulant amount of a herbicide comprising an aryloxyalkanoate part. Claim 26: The method according to claim 25, wherein the selectable marker is the phosphinothricin acetyltransferase (pat) gene or the bialaphic resistance (bar) gene. Claim 28: The use of 2,4-D in obtaining transgenic plants with a resistance to 2,4-D with a yield that is higher compared to its non-transgenic progenitor plants.
