Abstract
La presente divulgación describe unos sistemas y métodos para realizar modelado estratigráfico utilizando perfiles de densidad de datos de producción. Por lo menos algunas configuraciones ilustrativas incluyen un método de procesamiento de datos de una herramienta de registro de producción que incluye la medición de una o más características de una formación dentro de un pozo, de los fluidos dentro de la formación o de los fluidos dentro del pozo, el cálculo de un perfil de densidad de cada una de las características, y la definición de un límite entre dos celdas de simulación del yacimiento en base por lo menos parcialmente al perfil de densidad. El método incluye además la realización de una simulación de un campo de producción incluyendo el hoyo utilizando dichas celdas de simulación y presentando los resultados de la simulación a un usuario.
