Abstract

En un ejemplo de las enseñanzas divulgadas en la presente, existen múltiples opciones de señalización disponibles para disparar una transmisión empaquetada por un dispositivo inalámbrico, y una asociación conocida entre las diferentes opciones de señalización y los diferentes tamaños de empaquetado TTI. De ese modo, un nodo de red indica al dispositivo inalámbrico cuál tamaño de empaquetado TTI se desea, en base a elegir cuál opción de señalización utiliza para disparar la transmisión empaquetada. Tal señalización permite el uso de tamaños variables de paquetes TTI, es decir, el control dinámico del tamaño de paquete TTI usado por el dispositivo inalámbrico para la transmisión, sin por eso embargo no impone la carga de procesamiento de la señalización ni necesariamente requiere nuevos mensajes o tipos de señalización. La señalización de la capa más alta puede usarse para activar el empaquetado TTI con la señalización implícita empleada después para controlar dinámicamente el real tamaño de paquete TTI utilizado.
