Abstract

Los sistemas y métodos ilustrativos de monitoreo electromagnético (EM) permanente tienen una sarta del revestimiento dentro de un orificio de sondeo y están equipados con uno o más módulos de transductores EM que tienen una capa del material magnético blando que sustancialmente rodea la sarta del revestimiento para amplificar una respuesta de señal de un elemento de transmisión y/o sensado del campo magnético. El elemento de sensado del campo magnético puede ser una bobina o un elemento piezoeléctrico o magnetoestrictivo que aplica tensión a una fibra óptica. Un sistema de interfaz de pozo se comunica con el uno o más módulos de transductores EM para transmitir y/o recolectar señales EM en el tiempo. Se pueden proveer sartas del revestimiento adicional en otros orificios de sondeo cercanos para permitir un mapeo tomográfico y el monitoreo de las interfaces de fluido en el reservorio.
