Abstract

La presente descripción está dirigida a composiciones y estructuras de película para producir sellos térmicos. La estructura de película flexible termosellable incluye: una capa (A) que comprende una mezcla que comprende desde 35 hasta 80% en peso de la capa (A) de un plastómero o elastómero basado en propileno (PBPE) y desde 20 hasta 65% en peso de la capa (A) de un polietileno de baja densidad que tiene una densidad en el intervalo de 0.915 g/cm³ a 0.935 g/cm³, en la cual la mezcla tiene un índice en estado fundido (según se determina de conformidad con ASTM D-1238 (a 190ºC/2.16 kg)), una capa (B), adyacente a la capa (A), que comprende un polímero basado en poliolefina, en la cual el polímero o mezcla de polímeros que constituye la capa (B) fluye mas fácilmente que la mezcla de la 20 capa (A) bajo condiciones pretendidas para elaborar un sello duro con la estructura de película, y una capa más externa (C) que comprende un material que tiene un punto de fusión mayor de 140ºC; en la cual la relación del espesor de la capa (B) al espesor de la capa (A) es 3:1 o mayor. La estructura de película flexible termosellable se utiliza para elaborar un contenedor flexible que tiene uno o más sellos térmicos. El sello térmico puede ser un sello térmico frangible, un sello térmico duro, o una combinación de sellos térmicos frangibles y sellos térmicos duros dependiendo de las condiciones de sellado.
