Abstract
Codificador de audio para codificar una señal de audio, que comprende un distorsionador de tiempo (506); un conversor de frecuencia de tiempo (508) para realizar una conversión de frecuencia / tiempo de una señal de audio distorsionada en el tiempo en una representación espectral; un cuantificador (512) para cuantificar valores de audio, en donde el cuantificador está configurado para cuantificar en cero valores de audio por debajo de un umbral de cuantización; un calculador de relleno de ruido (524) para estimar una medida de una energía de valores de audio cuantificados en cero para un marco de tiempo de la señal de audio a fin de obtener una medida de relleno de ruido; un analizador de la señal de audio (516, 520) para analizar, si el marco de tiempo de la señal de audio tiene una característica armónica o de expresión; un manipulador (602) para manipular la medida de relleno de ruido que depende de una característica armónica o de expresión de la señal de audio para obtener una medida de relleno de ruido manipulada; y una interfaz de salida (522) para generar una señal codificada para la transmisión o el almacenamiento, en donde la señal codificada comprende la medida de relleno de ruido manipulada (530); en el cual el manipulador (602) está configurado para aplicar un nivel de ruido normal cuando la señal no tiene una característica armónica o de expresión y cuando no se aplica una distorsión de tiempo, y para manipular el nivel de relleno de ruido para que sea más bajo que en el caso normal cuando se encuentra un contorno de tono, lo cual indica un contenido armónico, y la distorsión de tiempo está activa.
