Abstract

Se presenta un estator (50) para usar en una bomba de cavidades progresivas (100), que comprende una carcasa (53) que presenta un extremo de aspiración (52) y un extremo de descarga (54), y un manguito elastomérico (55) dispuesto dentro de la carcasa (53) que define un pasadizo (44) para recibir un rotor (30) de la bomba (100). El manguito elastomérico (55) comprende un componente reforzado (60) que esta próximo al extremo de descarga (54) y que otorga una superficie de asiento (57) para resistir el paso de una cabeza de rotor (34) a través del pasadizo (44).
