Abstract

Se divulgan composiciones de fluidos de tratamiento para usar en operaciones subterráneas de fracturación hidráulica, en donde las composiciones de fluido contienen un polímero orgánico entrecruzable líquido que es soluble en el líquido, y una solución concentrada de borato que contiene un borato refinado fácilmente soluble, en donde la solución de borato esta presente como agente de entrecruzamiento para entrecruzar el polímero orgánico y aumentar la viscosidad de la composición. Las composiciones pueden incluir además uno o más depresores del punto de congelación, lo que aumenta la estabilidad de las composiciones en un amplio rango de temperaturas ambientales.
