Abstract

Un revestimiento (18) para una carga hueca (10) que se forma por compresión a partir de una mezcla de metal en polvo, metal aglutinante en polvo, y una cantidad seleccionada de material de nanopartículas, que se utiliza para obtener mayores profundidades de penetración durante la perforación de un pozo. Algunas nanopartículas indicativas incluyen plomo, estaño, cobre, molibdeno, etc. Dichas nanopartículas aumentan la densidad, o la impedancia acústica del revestimiento o la velocidad del sonido en el mismo.
