Abstract

Un fluido criogénico de fractura subterránea, que comprende un gas industrial licuado y un aditivo que aumenta la viscosidad. El gas industrial licuado puede ser dióxido de carbono licuado, nitrógeno licuado o una mezcla de ambos. La mezcla de gas industrial licuado debe ser sustancialmente libre de agua. En este contexto, sustancialmente libre de agua significa menos de 10% de agua en volumen o, preferentemente, menos de 5% de agua en volumen. Además del aditivo que aumenta la viscosidad, se puede agregar un agente de sostén al fluido de fractura. Además del aditivo que aumenta la viscosidad y/o agente de sostén, se pueden agregar otros aditivos al gas industrial licuado, según sea necesario.
