Abstract

Se da a conocer una envoltura que comprende: una película polimérica; donde dicha película polimérica comprende uno o más copolímeros de etileno con un monómero polar y donde la velocidad de transmisión de oxígeno de dicha envoltura es de 8.000 a 16.000 cm³/hora. También se presenta un método de manipulación de bananas que comprende: (a) cosechar bananas verdes; (b) luego colocar dichas bananas verdes en dicha envoltura; (c) seguidamente almacenar dicha envoltura a 20ºC o menos durante 1 semana o más; (d) a continuación madurar dichas bananas o dejar que dichas bananas maduren.
