Abstract
Tolva arenera, del tipo utilizada para la carga de la arena desde embarcaciones que la recogen en lechos marinos, ríos, u otros causes de aguas, que presenta una boca superior de carga donde se dispone un filtro de retención de piedras y otros objetos a separar, un boca inferior de descarga de la mezcla de arena y agua cerrada por una compuerta por debajo de la cual está dispuesta una bandeja móvil donde cae la arena y el agua que eventualmente se filtre a través de dicha compuerta durante la carga de la tolva antes de la apertura de la compuerta para la descarga de arena en la caja de carga de un camión o un contenedor de transporte de arena. La bandeja móvil está articuladamente acoplada al cuerpo de la tolva desde una pared posterior de la misma, proyectándose desde dicha pared posterior un caño de descarga del agua mezclada con la arena que se filtre a través de la compuerta de descarga. Las dimensiones y peso de la bandeja y del caño de descarga son tales que determinan en conjunto un centro de masa, o baricentro, coincidente con el punto de equilibrio definido por la articulación de la bandeja desde dicha pared posterior.
