Abstract

La presente se refiere a la composicion, al método de preparacion y al uso de un catalizador de craqueo catalítico fluidizado (ôFCCö) que está compuesto por una nueva zeolita Y que presenta un pico mesoporoso pequeno excepcionalmente bajo alrededor del rango de 40 A (angstrom) como se determino por mediciones de adsorcion de nitrogeno. Los catalizadores FCC hechos con esta nueva zeolita presentan tasas mejoradas de conversiones de residuos de aceite pesado del craqueo de aceite pesado y conversiones de gasolina. Los catalizadores de craqueo catalítico fluidizado en la presente son particularmente utiles en los procesos de craqueo catalítico fluidizado (ôFCCö) para a conversion de cargas de alimentacion de hidrocarburos pesados tales como gasoils y residuos de torres de vacío.
