Abstract
En un método de fracturamiento hidráulico de una formación subterránea que contiene hidrocarburos, se introduce una fase de apuntalante en la fractura que contiene un fluido gaseoso y un apuntalante ultraliviano suspendido en un fluido acuoso viscosificado. El fluido gaseoso de la fase de apuntalante contiene al menos aproximadamente 90 por ciento en volumen de la combinación de fluido gaseoso y fluido acuoso. Un fluido colchón puede ser introducido primero en la formación, donde el fluido colchón contiene un fluido gaseoso y opcionalmente, un fluido acuoso.
