Abstract
Proveer un método para producir ácido 2,6-dietil-4-metilfenilacético. Un método para producir ácido 2,6-dietil-4-metilfenilacético caracterizado porque comprende una etapa de hacer reaccionar un haluro de 2,6-dietil-4-metilfenil magnesio con óxido de etileno para obtener 2-(2,6-dietil-4-metilfenil) etanol y una etapa de oxidar el 2-(2,6-dietil-4-metilfenil)etanol; y la etapa de oxidar el 2-(2,6-dietil-4-metilfenil)etanol. La oxidación se conduce en presencia de un compuesto radical nitroxilo y con mayor preferencia en presencia de una sal de un ácido hipohaloso y/o una sal de un ácido haloso.
