Abstract
Un método para la producción de pentóxido de fósforo incluye la formación de un lecho de horno reductor utilizando aglomerados de alimentación que contienen una lignina sulfonato dentro de los mismos y recubriendo una superficie de tales aglomerados individuales. Se generan las partículas de francobordo a partir de los aglomerados y una cantidad de las partículas generadas es inferior a la que podría ocurrir en el método sin el uso de lignina sulfonato. Se genera gas maloliente de horno y se recoge al pentóxido de fósforo a partir de dicho gas. El horno descarga un residuo que contiene aglomerados procesados; menos de 20% de la entrada de fosfato de los aglomerados hacia el horno queda en el residuo. El porcentaje de fosfato de entrada que permanece en el residuo es inferior al que podría ocurrir en el método sin el uso de lignina sulfonato. El método puede incluir la formación de aglomerados crudos. El control de una velocidad de secado de los aglomerados crudos puede succionar por el mecanismo de mecha algo de la lignina sulfonato hacia la superficie de los aglomerados secos individuales sin que se adhieran entre sí.
