Abstract

Un dispositivo para tratamiento de agua, que comprende: una unidad de electrocoagulación (EC) para tratar una corriente de agua de alimentación para producir una corriente de agua tratada con EC de menor salinidad que la corriente de agua de alimentación; una unidad de separación eléctrica para tratar la corriente del agua tratada con EC para obtener una corriente de agua de producto de menor salinidad que el agua tratada con EC; y una unidad de precipitación para proveer una corriente de agua de lavado para lavar la unidad de separación eléctrica y convertirse en una corriente de agua de rechazo que fluye nuevamente hacia la unidad de precipitación, en donde la precipitación en la unidad de precipitación produce la corriente de agua de lavado de menor salinidad que la corriente de agua de rechazo. También se provee un método asociado.
